Costco, an open bag of sugar and 3 children

So I braved Costco yesterday with all 3 kids. I thought it was supposed to get easier as they grew up but it seems to get harder. I somehow can't convince my 6 & 10 year old that sitting in the shopping cart is a good thing.....go figure. So then of course my 3 year old won't sit in it either :-{
Well, there we were, braving the horrid crowds of Costco, couldn't move and the kids were running ahead of me and I am yelling like the nagging mother I am.
And then is all changed, I needed sugar so we headed to the sugar isle. But the kids got there before me and there had been an explosion of sugar just before we got there. So i found my well-behaved children leaning into the sugar display and EATING all the sugar they could possibly get into there mouths. Of course, we were not alone in the isle, a nice man also needed sugar and witnessed my sugar bugs eating all the sugar and I had already told him that they weren't mine. Somehow he did not believe me??!! So the nice man joined right in and started sprinkling sugar on the kids and telling them to have more!!
So the nice man picked up his bag of sugar which had a hole in it and then told my 10 year old to open his mouth and he would just POUR it in!!!
I am still laughing because it was just too hilarious not to share!!

I love that you just let it happen. I love that that guy didn't judge you or your kids and enabled them in enjoying the moment. I wish I was more like that.
