Boots, Bowling, Bumper, Beer and Bup Bups!

Saturday was one of those days where we didn't want to just sit around and do nothing so we decided to call up the Horovatin's and ask if they we up for a great game of bowling! SO we ordered a few beer and a plate of fries and we let the games begin. I must say, I am the world's most awful 5 pin bowler in the world. My hometown only had 10 pin bowling so when I found out a few years later that there was this thing called 5 pin, well, bring on the challenge!! So anyway, I suck at it, so thank goodness for "bumpers". I can kick ANYONE in a game of 5 pin with those bumpers. I think Jay left the bowling lanes feeling a bit defeated. I think the kids did too!! I'm really good at it now. Even though I was the only adult in the bowling alley to have "bumpers" and a beer in her hand, it felt pretty good to get a great score.!! Anyone up for a game of Bumper Bowling??!!

We now officially have a new addition to our large enough family. Piper the shitzhu has joined us for almost 2 weeks now. She is 10 weeks old and LOVES the kids. I call her our therapy dog because she has been helping Keegan with his sleep difficulties at night. He has struggled with sleep for years. since Piper has been snuggling with him every night when he falls asleep he actually GOES TO SLEEP instead of coming out of his room 20 times!! SO no matter how many poops and pees I have to clean up from Piper it's all worth it to me just so Keegan can fall asleep!! Piper has been good for Aiden and Sarah too, she chases them around the house and gives them puppy kisses. When Sarah wakes up in the morning all she says is "bup bup" which in her language is puppy!!

Now for the boots. I found these boots at Extra food for Sarah yesterday and couldn't resist. They are so cute on her and people that see her seriously stop and are amazed at the cuteness of them on her. She was not very photo friendly today so she looks a bit disturbed but she's too cute even when she is like that too!!

Thoughts.........
I am truly blessed today, even though I still have to use "bumpers" when I bowl!!
