Life at the Lion's Manor

My apologys to all my faithful blog readers, it has been long, way too long since I have sent my thoughts through cyberspace.
As you all may have figured out by past blog entries, we have purchased a new house. It is a bit of a fixer upper but we love it. I have been stripping WALLPAPER for weeks now and this week the colors will start to go on. I wish I had a little paint fairy that would wave her magic wand and PRESTO, my colors would be on. In reality, I will be doing the painting, along with taking care of 3 children, having dinner ready for a dear husband, cleaning, play dates, running...you get the picture.
OK, now for the explanation of the name "lions Manor"
As I walked out of my Hawaiian themed bedroom (that wallpaper is still up), I thought of those darn concrete lions guarding my driveway. I have lost the battle to take a sledgehammer to them, Jay & the boys want to keep them. So therefore, Will try to have fun with this one and call our place "The Lions Manor" Anyone from WInkler will appreciate this one, it is the name a a very popular senior housing complex.

I promise you all that I will Facebook less and focus on my blog more. Or all you non-facebookers can join!
Love,
Mel
