Christmas Christmas time is here.......

now if I could only get that "Alvin and the Chipmunks" song out of my head!!  It's not Christmas unless there are certain songs played on the radio, ipod, tape player, ghetto blaster, etc.
My favorites do include the ever famous Alvin & the Chipmunks song.....I really like the part where Alvin belts out as loud as he can "me I want a hoola hoop!!" Hilarious!!

My other favorite is "Porky Pig sings Blue Christmas".....I love that song because I think of my dad laughing his head off everytime he hears it.  I think he even has it on "tape" in his 1971 Ford pick up!! 

And my favorite traditional Christmas song is "Joy to the World".....awesome.
And my other favorite "other category" song is "Oh Beautiful Star of Bethlehem" by the Judds or any other remakes.
So with all the Christmas spirit around me, our lives have been so extrememly busy these days.  Why do we do this to ourselves.  We deceided to do our kitchen reno THIS WEEK and of all times of the year, why Christmas????!!  Ugh.
It is almost done and then we can sit down and reflect on the birth of Christ and the reason  for the season.
I can't wait to spend time with my family and friends.  Our families are flying in from Manitoba to spend a nice mild Christmas with us.  Can't wait!
