2 more sleeps..............

Today was a wonderful day in the Okanagan. THe snow was gently falling and the temperature was zero. It was a great day to get out and want to shovel the driveway (or in my case STREET....I will be calling our local councillor after Christmas about that one!!) LOVE IT!! We celebrated our Christmas with the kids today. THey were thrilled to pieces when they woke up this morning and saw the remnants of Santa's big delivery. So the excitement of new toys and games has been wafting throughout the house. THe boys have been civil to each other for a change. I LOVE to hear my boys get along, giggle and use their amazing imaginations together. Sarah however was quite off, whining and not knowing what to do with her self. She has been fighting a nasty, slimy, booger infested cold for the past few weeks. Jay and I just took it easy and did NOTHING!! (Jay did slip out at 6 to finish some loose ends at work.)
So here we are, 2 more sleeps until Manitoba. I love the anticipation of waiting for the kids to see their grandparents and to reconnect with them. They have so much fun together. Keegan has been having some difficulty lately about having Grandparents so far away. He says it is not fair and starts to cry. But, there is nothing we can do about that for now and we have to make our times with them that more special.
we fly to Winnipeg and that requires a few hours of trying to entertain a child in a small confined place. Let's PRAY that the long flight has TV's!!! THose of you that have done this before can relate!! Those of you who get annoyed at travelling children.........GET OVER IT!!!

Anyway, need to pack those suitcases and fill them with gifts for all!!

Think about what Christmas is to you and be reminded that it is the Celebration of Jesus' birth. Can you imagine being there that day and witnessing the most amazing thing of all? THink about it...........
